FAQ’S
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the session/creation fee?
The session/creation fee is a pre-paid fee to reserve the time for your portrait sitting. This reservation fee is due at the time you book your sitting.
Session fees vary according to the number of animals in a sitting and whether the session is at our studio or on location. If done at a location other than the studio, travel expenses are incurred.
How do you prepay for session/creation fees?
Session fees are due at the time you reserve your appointment. Your credit card number is required when making the appointment.
What if an appointment needs to be canceled or changed?
Appointments canceled more than 24 hours before the reserved sitting appointment will be refunded or credited toward a future session.
Appointments canceled 24hrs or less before the reserved sitting appointment are non- refundable and can be rescheduled without penalty.
Appointments that do not appear at their reserved time will result in forfeiture of the reservation fee. “NO SHOW” sessions are charged the session fee without option for reuse.
What are the studio hours?
All studio hours are by appointment only. Appointments are required for all services. The studio is typically closed on Sunday and major holidays.
How much time for each appointment?
Our sessions are scheduled in two hour time slots (except for special circumstances and promotions). No other animals will be scheduled during your time.
How is previewing the portraits done?
Images will be ready for previewing within 1 to 4 days of the session. We do electronic previewing and project on a 60” TV monitor. Selections can be viewed close to the actual size ordered from 8x10” to 30x40” including cropping and framing suggestions.
Can I take previews home with me to make a decision?
We strongly encourage you and anyone you wish to help you to visit our studio for your preview selections. We allow plenty of NON-RUSH time and our professional advice is always free.
We can make mini video prints of your favorites from your preview session at the time of the previewing. If you wish to take these mini-previews home from the studio before making your final selection, a $100 “prepaid purchase” is required and credited toward your order. This payment will be deposited and credited to your portrait order provided you return your orders within 7 working days.
A full set of 4x5” preview portraits to be viewed at home require a $250 minimum “prepaid purchase.” All previews are due to be returned within 7 working days. This payment will be deposited and credited to your portrait order provided that you return your previews within 7 working days.
Sorry, there will
